Painting in Scottsdale

HOA-approved colors and finishes that hold up to full desert sun.

Most Scottsdale exterior jobs start with paperwork, not paint. Plenty of communities here have an approved color palette, and painting outside it can mean doing the work twice — once for you, and again after the letter arrives.

We check the palette before we quote

Before the estimate we find out what your community has approved and work from that list. If the color you want isn’t on it, we’ll tell you what the submittal process actually looks like instead of pretending it isn’t there.

Smooth stucco is less forgiving

Scottsdale homes skew newer and more finish-heavy: smooth stucco, parapet walls, wrought iron, and a lot of trim detail. Smooth stucco shows everything — every patch, every lap mark, every place someone rushed. It takes longer to do properly, and we would rather quote it honestly than come back and fix it.

Summer in the Valley

Too hot to paint outside? Let's do the inside.

August and September are the right months for interior work — walls, trim, drywall repairs — while exteriors wait for cooler weather.
